Program Description
Windows Server 2003 is the latest advancement from Microsoft in operating systems technology. Through hands-on exercises, you gain experience in the first steps toward evaluating, designing and deploying a Windows Server 2003 environment. You learn to organize and administer the Active Directory, optimize file system resources, implement security and migrate from previous NT/2000 environments to Windows Server 2003.
  • Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Planning and Migration:

    In this comprehensive hands-on course, you learn the essential skills needed to plan a solid and reliable Windows Server 2003 foundation and migrate from an existing Windows NT/2000 enterprise. You learn to build a precise Organizational Unit structure, integrate your existing DNS, construct an optimal replication topology, and devise delegation of administration and design Group Policy deployment.
  • Planning, Deploying and Managing a Windows Server 2003 Environment: Hands-On

    In this course, you gain the knowledge and skills to install and manage clients and servers within a Windows Server 2003 domain. You learn to administer systems, create and enforce workstation and server configurations, implement automated software deployment and configure and utilize the Remote Installation Service (RIS).
